Cameron Smith is Robert

Cameron Smith was born in Oxford in the UK but has been living in Japan for over 20 years. He has acted in many productions in Nagoya, including Joe Orton's What the Butler Saw (Dr Prentice, Nagoya Players), Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Guildenstern, Nagoya Players), The Diary of Anne Frank (Otto Frank, Nagoya Players), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Francis Flute, Nameless Theatre), Othello (Roderigo, Nameless Theatre) andThe Record of What Was Hideous (C, Unbound Collective). He also translated and directed Nikolai Gogol's comedy The Government Inspector for the Nagoya Players.

Rachel Lynn Sweeney is Emma

Originally from Evansville Indiana, USA, Rachel Lynn Sweeney has been involved in theatre since she was in elementary school. After majoring in performance at Murray State University, she moved to Los Angeles, CA. While working behind the camera, she was fortunate enough to study at both The Groundlings and The Actor's Gang. Some of her more notable work includes The House of Yes (“Jackie-O” Pascal, Rogue Stage Project), Angels in America: Perestroika (Harper Pitt, Dark Horse Theater), and Hedda Gabler (Hedda Gabler, Rogue Stage Project). Upon immigrating to Japan, she thought her theatre days were over, but is beyond delighted to be taking the stage once more in ''Betrayal'' as Emma.

Ritchie Croan

is Jerry

Hailing from Perth, Australia, Ritchie Croan studied drama in his final year at high school purely out of curiosity. That curiosity dissipated until it reappeared in his Nagoya theatre debut in Maidenagoya Production's, Cosi in 2009. Since then, Ritchie has appeared in over 10 Nagoya shows such as Wait Until Dark (Sam Hendrix, Maidenagoya), Proof (Harold (Hal) Dobbs, Nameless Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (Tybalt, Nameless Theatre), Nagasaki Dust (multiple roles, Kangeki), and Speaking in Tongues (Nick, Theatre Iridescence), each more challenging than the last. After a COVID-19-induced coma, he has awoken and is ready to walk the boards again in Betrayal as Jerry.
